We are a specialist community service providing assessment , rehabilitation and support to adults with acquired or traumatic Brain Injury covering Cardiff and Vale and Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.
Our focus is on your continued rehabilitation, guided by you in terms of what is important – helping you to adjust back into life within your community and dealing with any physical, cognitive, emotional, communication or practical changes that have occurred due to the brain injury. We are a therapy-based multidisciplinary team and do not have a doctor or nurse as part of the team. We offer a combination of 1-1 and group based input and can link in with other teams and services who may also be supporting you.

Our service covers the following conditions:
To be eligible for our service the Acquired brain injury needs to have occurred within the last 5 years
The individual must be medically stable (ie not have a progressive condition), brain injury must be the main need (rather than another difficulty such as mental health or substance use needs) and they must require a team approach.
