Regional Specialist Community Brain Injury Team (CBIT)

We are a specialist community service providing assessment, rehabilitation and support to adults with acquired or traumatic Brain Injury covering Cardiff and Vale and Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.

Important information

Our focus is on your continued rehabilitation, guided by you in terms of what is important – helping you to adjust back into life within your community and dealing with any physical, cognitive, emotional, communication or practical changes that have occurred due to the brain injury. We are a therapy-based multidisciplinary team and do not have a doctor or nurse as part of the team. We offer a combination of one-to-one and group-based input and can link in with other teams and services who may also be supporting you.
