The Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Team are a regional service based in the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, working in the hospital and in the community.
We aim to provide practical support for people going through bone marrow transplant or
CAR-T cell therapy. We work closely with consultants, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dieticians, pharmacists and a range of specialist nurses. We provide comprehensive cancer rehabilitation before, during and after treatment.
We know that the diagnosis and treatment of cancer is a stressful life experience and may
have a significant impact on you. You may struggle with symptoms of anxiety and
depression as well as physical difficulties.
