Ergonomics Advice

The COVID-19 pandemic has lead to lots of changes in the workplace, with many people working from home, often at short notice, with little planning on how this is done. Many of us are finding ourselves in awkward positions, hunched over laptops on sofas or even beds.

Ergonomics is the study of how humans interact with physical systems and the environment: for example how we sit at our desks for eight hours a day at work. If we don’t do this correctly, it can can lead to physical problems and pain.

There are good ergonomic habits and improvements you can make to your working environment whether in an office setting or at home which can reduce the chance of you experiencing pain and discomfort.
