The Health Benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong exercises have been recognised by many health practitioners around the world. Tai chi has health benefits regardless age or levels of fitness. The most common health benefits include reducing stress, losing weight, relaxing the mind and body, correct posture, improved sleep, keeping fit, improving co-ordination, prevention of falls, promoting self healing, re-balancing the body, lowering blood pressure/ cholesterol, and improving musculoskeletal pain. There are many more positive outcomes reported by people who regularly practice Tai Chi and Chinese Health Qigong exercises.
Qi Gong has been practiced in China in its various forms for thousands of years. It consists of exercises involving specific breathing practices and/or movements, with the goal of enhancing and balancing Qi.
