This is the fifth session of the Prepare Well Orthopaedics programme.
In this session we will think about getting back to normal after your surgery (or hopefully, better than normal!).
There are many factors to consider when planning a return to work following your surgery.
The Dewis Cymru website is a great resource which gives you information regarding local services to help support your health and wellbeing. For example, a search for “walking groups” and your postcode, will result in a list of local walking groups and their contact details.
EXTEND Exercise Training are gentle exercise classes which aim to improve your fitness and mobility and increase your independence. There are classes around Cardiff and Penarth. Click here to find venues and times.
Elderfit Exercise sessions are for people aged over 50. Classes take place around Cardiff, Penarth and Barry. You can find details of times, venues and how to book a space here.
Join us for the Prepare Well Orthopaedics Programme to discuss this content further and how to live with your new joint.
