What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

Physiotherapists help people through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They can help you maintain your health and manage pain, enabling you to remain independent for as long as possible.

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a ‘whole person’ approach, which includes your lifestyle. At the core is your involvement in your own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in your chosen treatment.

All our physiotherapists are professionally registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
